Single Review: Miss U by Beem*

 

I had an absolute blast listening to 'Miss U' by Beem*! The song's infectious vibe is undeniable, and I love how it sounds. It's like I'm transported to a world where I feel carefree and alive, like a kid in a cartoon waking up to a sunny morning, eating cereal, and running to school with friends. What I appreciate most about this song is how it masterfully blends a melancholic love story with an upbeat, danceable instrumental. The lyrics convey a sense of sadness, doubt, and paranoia, but the music is so catchy and fun that it creates a perfect contrast. It's a true work of art.


I think 'Miss U' is more than just a song – it's an anthem. It's perfect for a long night drive or a shower concert, and I'd definitely give it an 8/10. The song is a bop, and the vibes are just different. Beem*'s genius lies in his ability to balance the emotional depth of the lyrics with an energetic and uplifting melody. If you're looking for a song that will make you feel something, 'Miss U' is definitely worth a listen.

Can you tell us about the story behind it and how it came together? Shawn: It began with me having an initial idea for most of the song. I knew what I wanted the lyrical theme to be, and the riffs and melodies followed that. Most of our songs begin with that anyway, and I record it all into my computer and send it off to Willow.
