Album review: Chaos Garden by Thien Dragon

Thien Dragon's Chaos Garden is a really honest look at modern love. The songs show how it feels to be super focused on someone, using simple, repeated lines in tracks like “HEART PIECE” to share a strong, non-stop wish for connection. A cool part of the album is its unique style, which mixes these big feelings with fun, throwback internet culture. Songs like “Hello Kitty Cutie” are filled with awesome references to Y2K trends like Tamagotchi and Kurumi. This mixing of romance with modern life—like in "boba boo," which sets love against everyday street vibes—gives the album a really relatable and memorable feel.

Even though there's a lot of sweet emotion, the songs also dive into tough feelings and struggles. Tracks like “not ok with running away” and “2nd chance” show the pain of dealing with drama, feeling betrayed, or getting judged by other people. This emotional push-and-pull is  why the album is called Chaos Garden: it's about trying to heal and find peace while dealing with a messy situation. Overall, the album skips using lots of fancy words and goes straight for raw emotion. It feels like a quick but powerful read of someone's personal thoughts, showing how good times and serious heartbreak can crash together in the digital age.
